若女2 その1（Waka-onna2 part1） ― 2022/12/24
翁面の彫りが終わったので指の休みと称して数日間休んだら
なかなか次の面に手を付ける気になれませんでした。
Now that the carving of the Okina mask is complete.
I didn't carve for a few days to rest my fingers, so
I didn't feel like starting work on the next mask.
まだ、休むには早かろうに。ともう一人の自分がささやきます。
年末で何かと忙しいということもあり気が散っているのかもしれない。
やっぱり勢いが付いているうちに次の物に取りかかるようでないとダメかな。
A different self whispers that it's still too early to rest.
I'm busy at the end of the year so maybe I'm distracted.
After all, I have to start working on the next thing while I'm gaining momentum.
彩色は冬には向かないのでこのまま春まで彫りを続けようと思います。
時折違うネタも取り入れながら。暫くは般若と女面のペアが続くと思います。
まだ他にやりたいこともあんるんですがね・・・。
Colouring is not suitable for winter, so I plan to continue carving until spring.

今回は増女用の材料を使います。たまたま寸法が合ったのでホッとしています。
そうでなければ数が月待つか別種類の面を選ばざるを得ません。

If it's not so, I have to wait a few months or choose a different type of mask.
今回はすこぶる材料の状態がいいので彫る感覚も抜群の気持ちよさ
でした。これは実際にやってみないと分かりません。

輪郭もあっという間に終わりました。
