能面作業再開 ― 2026/05/26
3月以来画集出版のため中断していた能面制作が復活しました。
胡粉で下地処理まで終わっていた狂言面毘沙門から手を付けます。
Since March, the production of Noh masks had been on hold
for the publication of an art book, but it has now resumed.
I'll start working on the Kyogen mask Bishamon,
which already has the ground layer prepared with gofun.
やりながらコツを思い出して何とか完成まで漕ぎつけました。
本物の方がダイナミックで自然に汚した感じですが、まだ分からない点が多々あります。
これはこれからの課題としましょう。当面は彩色が続きます。
As I worked on it, I gradually remembered the knack
and somehow managed to finish it.
The real thing looks more dynamic and naturally weathered.
There are still many things I don't understand.
Let's make this a challenge for the future.
For the time being, I'll continue with colouring.
