般若白 彩色 (Hannya white colouring) ― 2026/06/02
恐らく般若は人気があるだろうからなるべく数作っておこうと思っている面です。
胡粉で下地処理を終えた真っ白な面を見てどんな色にしようかと頭を悩ませます。
これはちょうど、絵画に例えれば絵を描く前のに真っ白な画面を見て悩んいる、
音楽に例えれば曲を作る前の真っ新な五線紙を見て悩んでいる。
Hannya is probably quite popular.
This is one of the masks I'm planning to make as many of as possible.
Looking at the pure white mask primed with gofun,
I rack my brains over what colours to use next.
It's just like an artist agonizing in front of a blank canvas
before starting to paint.
It's just like staring at a completely blank sheet of staff paper
before composing a piece of music, not knowing where to start.
と相通ずるところがあるのではと、勝手なことを書いて一人慰めています。
早い話が、考えてないでさっさと進めろということなんでしょう(笑)。
般若白と題名を付けておきながら全然真っ白ではありませんね。
さて、彩色は覚えているだろうかと試行錯誤でやってみたところ何とかなりました。
I just write whatever I want to comfort myself.
So basically, you're saying I should stop overthinking it
and just get on with it, right?
Despite being titled "Hannya White," it's not pure white at all.
Now, I tried to remember how to colour it by trial and error.
It worked out in the end.
