(Chuujo colouring) ― 2026/08/02
It looks like we're in for a stretch of scorching hot days now
that August has begun.
I just hope to see a reasonable number of rain and cloudy marks in the forecast.
I don't really like making fierce, grimacing faces,
so I haven't made many masculine-looking masks.
Well, since this is also a Noh mask, this time it's a samurai mask.
The impression I get of the middle Captain is that he seems more like
a court noble than a samurai.
Because it has distinctive features, it was much easier to carve.
The difficulty lies in having to turn a featureless surface into
one with distinguishing features. Isn't that a woman's mask?
I have 2 vengeful spirits and 4 demon gods left.
